Dorchester Art Project
Dorchester Art Project (DAP) is a dynamic, community-driven art and cultural cooperative dedicated to fostering creativity, inclusivity, and economic empowerment in Boston. Our mission is to be a living, breathing example of what positive creative entrepreneurship and incorporating cooperative values can do for a community and its members. Our aim is to serve the marginalized communities of Boston’s BIPOC and arts and culture-driven artists, creators, and organizers while developing and sharpening their creative and entrepreneurial mindsets.

At Dorchester Art Project (DAP), they are genuinely committed to fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging within our community-driven art and cultural cooperative. DAP is rooted in the belief that creativity thrives in environments where voices are valued and empowered. We recognize that true inclusivity requires intentional effort and dedication, we are unwavering in our commitment to providing educational resources and experiences to artists, creators, and organizers from all walks of life. Central to our ethos is the prioritization of supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and arts-driven communities. We understand the historical marginalization and underrepresentation these communities have faced within the artistic landscape, and we actively work to amplify their voices and perspectives. In our pursuit of equity, we strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and celebrated for their unique identities and contributions.
